On-premise Archive
The On-Premise Archive feature allows you to securely sync your project data to Dropbox, giving you ongoing access to your files at any time without needing to restore the project within Commnia.
1 - Navigate to the menu bar icon and click Project Register under Operations.
2 - Click on the checkbox to select the project you would like to archive.
3 - Click on On-premises Archive.
4 - You will be taken to the Project Archive page.
- You will need to link your Dropbox account first
- Click on the checkbox to confirm with the Terms & Conditions
- Click Proceed to checkout
Dropbox account must be the paid version
5. A new window will appear after you click Link to Dropbox.
6. Enter your details to connect Commnia to your Dropbox account.
Once you have linked your Dropbox, the link will change to Connected.
7. Tick the checkbox and Proceed to checkout.
You will be redirected to an invoice page, where you have the option to pay with credit card by clicking Pay Now or Bank Transfer.
8. Simply enter your card details and click Make Payment.
Our payments are secured using Stripe.
We do not store your card details in our servers.
9. Once the payment has been processed, the invoice will be stamped as Paid.
10. If you navigate back to Commnia, the status will be changed to Queued.
11. You will receive an email notification to let you know the sync to Dropbox has been successfully completed.
12. If you navigate to Dropbox, you will be able to access all your data there.

13. To access Commnia Desktop you will need to download the following App.

Click on the suitable operating system to download.
14. Click New Server in the simple web server window.
15. Click the folder icon in Folder path.
16. Under the Dropbox folder, select the folder "Apps/Commnia Pty ltd"
18. The selected folder will be connected to the server.
19. Ensure the server status is Running and click on any of the web server URLs.
20. Once you've clicked on a URL, click Commnia.html.
You will be redirected to the Commnia interface, from here you can view all your project data as the same as Commnia Desktop.
Before accessing the project through the browser, make sure the project data is synchronized on your desktop. Storing the files solely on Dropbox will not grant access to the Commnia Desktop App.

Importance of Access to the original Dropbox Account
Only the original Dropbox account used during the archive setup can initially open and access the archive folder.
The files can be moved to another storage service such as OneDrive or downloaded to your local storage for safekeeping.
Loss of Access
Commnia strongly recommends maintaining multiple backups for example: saving copies on OneDrive, another cloud service, or local storage to prevent permanent data loss.
Storage Retrieval
If you have an active storage agreement with Commnia, your archived files can be retrieved though Commnia's backup system.
Please note that additional retrieval or processing fees may apply.
