Purpose
The Global Contact List enables users to effortlessly find and retrieve contact information required for project-related communications and collaboration.
Consideration
- Global Contact List is only available to internal users
- Only Administrators can de-activate companies
Steps
How to Access and Navigate the Directory
Navigate to the menu bar icon and click Contacts under Communication.
Directory Tab
1. Search by Company name, alternatively you can filter by Company Category, Trade or Security Groups (Also active or inactive as previous tabs)
2. Listing of the companies
3. Users belonging to selected Company
Click on New Company
Thanks to our google integration, it's as simple as searching for the company you wish to add.
Select what type of Company Category they fall into, assign the Trades associated with the company.
Once you are satisfied with the information you have entered, click on Save
Add User to Company
Select + New Contact
Enter the email address and in the search bar you can search for the newly added company
Click on next and fill out the further details, please note that from here you can also assign them to a project
Once you click Save
You will see the user has been added to the company.
