Site Sign On with QR Code

To help you with contactless, fast and accurate electronic visitor record-keeping on your site, Commnia has introduced a QR Code generator - you can create a unique QR code for each building site or a unique QR code for multiple locations on the same site.


You can choose to create a Static QR code which is a code that cannot be changed after you have created it, its permanent, or you can create a Dynamic QR Code, allowing you to edit the information after creation any number of times.




1. Access QR Sign-On Settings via the Main Menu


2. Create QR Code



3.  Add relevant information (QR Code content)

  1. Choose the Type of QR Code
  2. Add your location - you can enter a custom description as detailed as required  i.e Building B, Level 3
  3. Link your automated Inductions 
  4. Click Add


4. Dynamic QR Code Generator

Add relevant information (QR Code content) as per the previous steps.

You will be prompted to add refresh time in minutes and add an expiry date, once you are done click Add.



5. Display High-Quality QR Codes for Print 

Once you are have created the Code, you will be directed back to the list of all QR Codes created.

You can filter by Job./Project from the drop down menu.

Click Display for the QR code to open in a new tab or Print to open a PDF version with printer functions activated as per the below examples.

Once you have printed the QR code;
  1. Download and display your unique QR Code poster. (Do not alter the poster in any way or the QR code may not display correctly). 
  2. Display the QR code where it’s easy to see and easy for people to scan. Display copies of the code at different heights for people with limited mobility or who are using wheelchairs. 

Once a user scans the QR code, they will be prompted to complete personal details including their company, name and mobile number.
Entering email address is optional



6. List of Registered Visitors

List of Site Visitors scanned can be be found in the Site Diary under the Sign-On History tab.



7. Delete QR Code 

Access QR Codes List via Site Manager, QR Sign-On Settings ( as per 1st Step).
You will be presented with the list of QR Codes.

1. Select your project
2. Click on the relevant checkbox in line with the QR code
3. Click Delete
