Efficient communication is key to running a safe and productive construction site. By implementing a digital pre-start system that integrates QR codes and mobile technology, you can ensure that every worker receives crucial updates the moment they sign on for the first time.

Create Pre-Start Notices: Prepare essential safety messages and updates.

Link to QR Sign-on: Attach the Notice to Sign-on QR Codes that are easily accessible by scanning on a mobile device.

Automatic Display: When workers sign on for the first time, the notice will automatically pop up, ensuring they’re informed right from the start.

This system ensures your workforce stays informed and organised, boosting both safety and productivity.



1. Access QR Sign-On Settings via the Main Menu

Navigate to the main menu and select Sign-On.


2. Create QR Code

Click on New QR Sign-On.



1. Add your location - you can enter a custom description as detailed as required
2. Choose the type of QR Code you wish to generate - Static or Dynamic
3. Click on the plus button to create a Notice



4. Give your Notice a Title
5. Enter the Notice Date
6. Upload Documentation and Files relevant to the notice.
7. Enter your Notice, Instructions with the ability to add Images and Embed videos.
8. Save the Notice



9. the newly created notice will now be linked (click here to select a previously created notice)
10. Create the QR Sign-On



Idea
You can create different notices and change them daily without the need to reprint the QR Code

4. Display High-Quality QR Codes for Print 

Once you have created the Code and Notice, you will be directed back to the list of all QR Codes created.
The Notice is now linked under Linked Notices.



1. You can filter by Job / Project from the drop-down menu.
2. Click Display for the QR code to open in a new tab or Print to open a PDF version with printer functions activated as per the below examples.

Once you have printed the QR Code:
  1. Download and display your unique QR Code poster. (Do not alter the poster in any way or the QR code may not display correctly). 
  2. Display the QR code where it’s easy to see and easy for people to scan. Display copies of the code at different heights for people with limited mobility or who are using wheelchairs. 

5. User Perspective without Commnia App Installed

Once a user scans the QR code, they will be prompted with the Notice.



Once the user selects Accept and Sign-On they will be asked complete personal and company details.

Please note you are required to enter an email address or mobile phone number.

Once the user scans the QR Code the App will display the Notice



Once the user Accepts and Signs-on their details will be prefilled with the App login details.
