If you would like to mark an email as a quote, this quote will be visible in the Tender Manager as a quote received for the trade you select.
1. When would I mark an email as a quote?
There are two reasons why you would mark an email as a quote:
A bidder has emailed you a quote.
A bidder has responded to a Commnia Tender Request with a quote.
2. What happens when I mark an email as a quote?
The email category changes to Quote Received
The quote appears in the Tender Manager
3. How do I mark an email as a quote?
If you receive an email in your private email application i.e Outlook and the email contains a quote for a Tender you created in Commnia, you can import the email into Commnia as a quote.
To see how to install the Outlook plugin click here.
In Outlook, open the email, click on the Commnia Outlook Plugin and select Save to Conversation from the menu.
To see how to use Commnia Email via the Outlook plugin click here.
In the dialogue box, link the email to the corresponding Tender Request and tick the Save as Quote checkbox.
If you forget to tick the checkbox in step one, you can mark an email as a quote from the commnia Inbox.
In this scenario, the bidder has replied to your tender or you've imported the email using our Outlook Plugin (Step One).
This applies to any tender email that exists in the Commnia Inbox.
Locate the email and select Mark as Quote from the menu. See image below
Now you should see the Quotes in the Tender Manager.
