How to Link Documents in the Document Register | Tablet


Navigating related documents just got easier. Commnia’s Automatic Document Links feature, built into the Document Registry uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to detect callouts within drawings that reference other documents. It then creates clickable links, letting users jump straight to the relevant file with a single click. No more digging through the registry just fast, intuitive access to the information you need.

On the Home Screen click on Document Register.



1. Select the documents you wish to link together by clicking on the checkboxes.
2. Navigate to Options
3. Select Link Documents
A prompt will appear to let you know that you will receive a confirmation email once the linking process has been completed.




Once you have received the email, click View on Commnia.




The link icon will appear if there are linked documents.
Click on the document to view the document. 



The red highlights indicate the linked documents.
When you hover over it, it will let you know what document is linked to.
Click on the link and you will be taken to that document.
