How do I create a distribution group as an external user?
Quick answer: External users can create their own project distribution groups directly from Contacts. Simply create a new group, name it, and add the members you want to include.

Steps
1. Navigate to the Main Menu and select Contacts
2. Go to Project Groups
3. Click New Group
4. Enter a name for the group
Add a description (optional)
Please be aware that lists created by external users are classified as public.
As a result, every member of the group can view and distribute the list to others within that group
5. Click Add Members
6. Select the members you want to include and click on Add Selected
7. Once finalised click on Create List
8. Your new group is now created
What to expect
Your new distribution group will be saved and available to use when sending documents, transmittals, or communications to that group of contacts.
Common issues
Problem: Members are not appearing in the selection list
Cause: The contacts may not have been added to the project yet
Fix: Confirm the contacts exist under your Project Contacts or ask the builder to add them to the project
