How to send drawings for markup with multiple users

Commnia Inbox facilitates  communication and a collaborative workspace for multiple users on a project to discuss and track design changes as they are added.

Builders, Subcontractors, Consultants and Clients can all discuss and work on one drawing at the same time where ever they are. Each user can open, read, mark up and share multiple PDF documents for review instantly saving you time and increasing efficiency.

There are two ways you can start the collaboration process.
  1. Via Inbox
  2. Via Document Register
Markup collaboration is only applicable for documents that are attached via the Document Register.
We will introduce this feature to Commnia Drive and Local Device documents in the near future.

1. Attach Drawings for Review via Inbox

  1. Create a new email from the Commnia Inbox.
  2. Add Recipients, click on the To, CC or BCC button to display the full global contact list.  
  3. Click on Register to open the document register.

Attach files

  1. Click on each file checkbox to Select, and click Attach to add to your email.

  1. Send Email.
  2. Each recipient will receive an email with a link to review the documents. 

2. Attach Drawings for Review via Document Register

  1. Click Markup Document and Send from the Document Control dropdown menu.
  2. Select Add Document
  3. Click on each file checkbox to Select, and click Attach.
  4. Add Markup - each markup will be autosaved as a draft.  
  5. You can navigate between documents by clicking on the arrow icon.
  6. Click Send - and the email template will open, compose your email and send.



  1. Each recipient will receive an email with a link to review the documents.
