Create and Attach Markup Drawings via Email, RFI & Defect




Managing your drawings and documents using Commnia Mark Up Tool offers many efficiencies and streamlines the mark-up process, changes can be made by authorised persons, no matter where they are, on-site or off-site.

They can distribute updated documents to the entire project team in a matter of minutes.

1. Markup via Inbox

Create a new email from the Commnia Inbox and attach documents from Commnia Drive or the Register to Markup.



The Document Register or Commnia Drive based on your choice will pop up.
Click on the pen icon to open the file with the markup tool.


Once you click on the magnifying glass a markup page will open.

Project Users can create annotations, text comments, draw, add shapes and signatures and distribute updated documents to the entire project team in a matter of minutes.



2. Markup via RFI

Create a new RFI via Inbox and scroll down to attachments.

Either select attachment from Commnia Drive or the Register to markup.

A pop up will appear to markup drawings on.

When you are finished marking up drawings save and attach the file.

3. Markup via Defects

Create a new defect which can be found under the Site Manager drop-down on the main menu.

Select Upload in line with Document Register.



The Document Register will pop up, click on the magnifying glass icon to open the file with the markup tool.
Once you have finished marking up the document, close and attach.
