How to Manage Defects and Issues Assigned to You

Defects will be used as an example, but the instruction will also work for other issues. 

From Home, select Site Manager

Select a defect that is assigned to you.

The selected defect will open, tap Actions

The user responsible for the defect initially has 4 options; Accept, Accept & Complete, Reject, or Forward the task.
  1. Accept: You accept the defect and you will notice updated options appearing including Complete or Reject
  2. Accept & Complete: You accept the defect and have complete works. It will flag the defect as complete and send a notification back to the task owner for review and closure
  3. Forward: You can forward the defect to another user
  4. Reject: You do not accept the defect assigned to you, it will send a rejection notification back to the task owner to reassign, reallocate or close

Manage 'Accepted' Defect

If you had initially selected Accept.
Tapping Actions, you will notice revised options to manage the defect.

The options now consists of Complete, Reject or Forward. 
Marking the task as Complete will flag the task as complete and send a notification back to the task owner for review and closure.

If you would like to add a completed works photo, tap Edit

Tap Add attachments, and you have the options to upload photos/videos, PDF file or take a photo.

Once you have attached a photo, tap Save

You are given 2 options; Save or Save + send.
Save + send will notify the creator of the defect by email.
Tap Confirm to save the defect.

Each defect contains a messenger style communication area, allowing assigned user and creator to communicate on the defect. This may contain clarification questions or progress updates. 
Enter your new comment to reply to the contact, and tap the Send Icon.

The Links give you a visual display of tasks for this defect and their status.
