How to Activate BIM Viewer Licence | Web
Only System Admins can activate BIM licencing.
There are 2 ways to activate the BIM Licence.
Activate via Project Register
Navigate to the menu bar icon and click Project Register under Operations.
Select the project you wish to activate, click Settings tab.
Click Activate Licence.
Confirm Activate licence.
Activate via Document Register
Navigate to the Document Register.
Click on the grey cube icon.
A pop up will appear that the 3D viewer is not enabled.
Click on Enable 3D viewer.
Confirm Activate licence.
There will be a record of who and when the licence was activated in Project Register.
Non System Admins will need to request licence
If a non system admin tries to open the BIM viewer when it is not enabled, they will need to request for the BIM viewer to be enabled.
Click Request the viewer to be turned on.
A confirmation prompt will appear that the request has been sent.
In the meantime, users can download the model instead.
