Document Register | Create and Edit Document Discipline
Purpose
From the Document Control Panel, you can create and manage Document Disciplines categories. These categories are used to classify and organise documents when uploading them to the Document Register.
Consideration
Only Administrators can create and modify categories in Control Panel
Steps
1. Access Document Discipline Settings
On the top far right of the screen, click the cog and it will take you to control panel.
Click on Document Register and select Disciplines.
2. Create and Edit Disciplines
To create a new Discipline, click on the New Discipline button.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen, Enter the new discipline name and click Save.
3. Delete a Category
To Disable a Category, click on the category and then the Trash Icon.
Note that this will not delete the discipline, but prevent any future entries from being classified under this category.
