Create QR Code for Site Manager Locations on Desktop

Creating QR Code Locations ensures all related work items and documents are stored into one location for easy access. 

Please note QR code locations can be created for New Site Manager items.

Accessing Site Manager

From the menu bar icon click on Site Manager.

Navigate to New and select Defect from the dropdown list. 



Create new Defect

1. You can specify the Priority of this defect, the people involved an idea of how important the defect is to complete 
2. Enter the Due Date
3. Enter the Title of the defect
4. Enter the Location by typing or selecting from the drop=down list. If the location doesn't exist, you can add it from this drop-down list
5. Type the Name of the responsible User or Company, and then select from the list of options to assign the issue to this user/company
6. Type a Description of the defect
7. Upload photos or documents from your local device or the register
8. Click Save or Save & Send to create the defect. The Save & Send option will email the relevant contacts about the defect 
9. Ensure the Create QR Locations is ticked 

It is optional to add CC to inform the relevant users.
Users who have been copied will only have access to view the defect, they will not be able to edit or close the defect. However, they can communicate via the chat log. 



When you need to create multiple new defects for a single user, click on the Save option. Once all defects have been created, you can create and send a report to this user listing all defects assigned to them. 

You can view your created locations by navigating to QR Locations in either the app or desktop version.
