Add Users to Project Contact List from the Inbox

This article will cover what to do if you are composing an email but the contact isn't listed in the Project Contact List for you to add as a recipient.

You can add the person to the Project Contact List without getting out of your email.



1. Accessing Inbox

Login to your Commnia account and select your project.

From the main menu, select Inbox.

To create a new email, click on the New icon.

2. Open Global Contact list via Email

Click on the To, CC or BCC button to display the full global contact list.  


3. Add User to the Project Contact List

You can filter the Global Contact list by the fields available to narrow down your search.

Click on the orange + icon to add the selected user to the Project Contact List

A pop-up window will occur, click Yes.
  1. A Success Message will confirm contact was added to the Project List
  2. You can see that the users on the Project List now have a lighter shade of orange + icon.
  3. Click Cancel to return to your email.


Now when you start typing the name of the contact on the To, CC or BCC button your contact will be displayed in the list of users from the project contact list.

If a contact is not already a part of Commnia, you are able to add them by clicking on the Create New Contact icon.
